Trout Lake Retreat

Join us for 4 days in our cozy cabin that sits right next to the white salmon river, nestled in the mountains of Trout Lake, Washington. This cabin has been in our family for over 45 years, and the small town of Trout Lake is near and dear to our hearts. Our winter yoga retreat is all about relaxation and rejuvenation. You will have the opportunity to enjoy daily yoga, outdoor excursions such as hiking or snowshoeing, wine tasting, yoga nidra, movie nights, an educational cooking class with our private chef, and time to relax and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you. Our chef, who will cater all your meals, is local to this region and takes pride in creating healthy, organic, and delicious meals. Pricing options vary depending on the room you choose. We have many options available from a single bed, to private rooms.

Itinerary

Friday, February 21st

Check in for our cabin is at 4:00pm. Once you arrive, you will have some time to check out the house and get settled into your room, as well as meet the other yogi's you will be sharing this experience with. We will enjoy dinner together catered by our private chef around 5:30pm. If weather permits, we can enjoy a walk through nature (or you can mingle, enjoy wine, do yoga, play games, journal whatever you prefer). We will end our evening with a relaxing Yin yoga session.

Saturday, February 22nd

Rise and shine to the sound of the White Salmon River right outside your window. Enjoy a morning beverage on one of our cozy couches, or the many seating options outside on our wrap around porch. Breakfast is on your own time. Before we embark on our adventure of the day, we will prepare with a light yoga class to warm and wake your body up. Then we will head out together for a hike or snowshoe venture to immerse ourselves in the natural beauty that surrounds us (This is optional and which activity we end up doing depends on the weather). Lunch will be served when we arrive home. Enjoy some down time before our cooking class at 4:00pm with our private chef. After dinner we will gather for yoga nidra.

Sunday, February 23rd

Wake up to the sounds of the forest that surround you and enjoy your morning beverage and breakfast. We will gather together at 9:30am for a Vinyasa yoga class. Then we will get ready and head to Hood River for our private wine tasting event. (If you do not drink, you are welcome to explore Hood River or any other activity you enjoy, just let us know beforehand so we can adjust our party size accordingly.) After our wine tasting event we will have some free time to shop and explore what Hood River has to offer. We will meet together at Solstice for dinner before we head home. Once we arrive back in Trout Lake we will guide you through Yin yoga, followed by a movie night featuring one of our favorite films: On Yoga: The Architecture of Peace.

Snow

Monday, February 24th

Enjoy your last morning with a beverage and breakfast on one of the many decks available. Feel free to enjoy a walk to soak in the beauty that surrounds you one last time. We will gather at 9:30am for a Vinyasa class. Check out is 11:30am. We hope you will carry some of the relaxing and rejuvenating energy we share on this retreat, into the rest of your winter season. Safe travels home!
